I was very relieved to hear that although the flue was badly tarred you were able to clean it. My son Ally passed on all you said about wet fuel, improving our log store area, frequency of sweeping (every quarter) and putting a product like 'Hotspot' down the chimney today - and then regularly onto the fire bed. Its a shame I had the tub in the car with me yesterday but it sounds like we have bought the right stuff.
